Blog Update 6 - Twitter Take 2

I know Wednesdays are reserved for the mini-webinars.  However, I decided that the next few weeks are more important to discuss Social Media outlets then you guys seeing my ugly mug talking.  So for the next few weeks, instead of a weekly Webinar, You guys get a double treat and double update.  Since this week we are focusing on Twitter, I will go more in depth on the topic.  Monday's post was a huge guide to Twitter.  It will take you some time to go through and read all about everything you need to know.  This update will be simple and to the point!

I hear the debate all the time, and no, I'm not talking about the Presidential debate - I'm referring to Twitter.

Should we consider Twitter to be a marketing tool or is it just for people who have a lot of time on their hands and the need to jibber-jabber all day long?

I will be honest, I was an early adopter of Twitter and then I walked away from it. I couldn't see the value. Recently, my viewpoint has changed. For the past year plus I have been addicted.  Not for the social aspect, but for the marketing aspect.

Think of Twitter as a means to get instant public messages out to your audience, whether it is an audience of colleagues or potential customers.

Twitter is becoming an increasingly important platform for online communication and, yes, conversation. TechCrunch reported that Twitter is receiving 8 million unique visitors per month and about 3 million messages are posted daily.

How can we use Twitter as a marketing tool?

Good question. Let me see if I can help you guys get a general understanding.

Twitter As A Learning Tool:

As I mentioned, over 3 million messages are posted everyday. Are you mentioned in any of them? What about your company? This might be a good time to find out. Twitter provides a search engine that allows you plug-in company names, brand names, topics and even personal names. How is your buzz level? Are there any negative comments out there? If I were you, I'd use the search engine to check in a regular basis.

Today, I found out that BMW made a customer unhappy and he Tweeted about it. I learned that Weather Underground has some really cool iPhone applications and that the chocolate cake at Macaroni Grill is deadly.

All that was posted today, along with hundreds of other trending topics.  Justin Beiber is HUGE right now.  So, whether you are engaging on and participating in Twitter or not, someone may just be tweeting about you or your company.

Use Twitter as a Media Outlet:

You can use Twitter to post news or updates about your company or products. However, please don't do this before you become familiar with the format and etiquette of Twitter. The best way to do this is to post a link to the full content of the news or update. Think of what's valuable to your consumers and let them hear about it first on Twitter. You'll be amazed how your following will grow.

A Promotional Palace:

It's not uncommon for companies to post promotions, sales, or specials on Twitter. An example would be Dell, they do it well. It's important to remember that Twitter is about conversation and breaking news, so be sure if you are posting promotional information that you make it conversational and personal. If I want an ad, I'll turn on TV.

Create Character in Your Brand :

Twitter is a fantastic tool in giving your brand a voice and a personality. Being successful in Tweeting, you will have to put forth your personality and a unique style. That's what makes the difference and can increase your Twitter following and make it a successful marketing tool for you. Remember you only get 140 characters per tweet.  So make sure you can get the message across without just spamming product links!

Customer Service and Chit Chat :

As you begin to use Twitter you will notice that it's all about conversation. It's about talking to your prospects and consumers, interacting with them. If you are not going to do this, don't use Twitter as a marketing tool, it simply won't work. Make friends, be a friend and reply. Show your followers that you want to engage and be involved with them - this provides optimal customer service and that you are, in fact, personable.

Product Review 5 - The Millionaire Society

As promised, I told you guys that I would not only do product reviews on products that I use and that I have bought and would recommend, but also do product reviews on some products you will want to stay away from.  Today is one of those days were we will look at a product that is very sub-par and that you should really shouldn't purchase.

The Millionaire Society is a program designed to show you how to flip domains names and drive unlimited traffic to your sites.  The price tag use to be pretty heavy at around $400, plus a $47/month VIP membership option.  I see now the price has dropped to $97.  When I first purchased this product I was excited to get started and to drive traffic to my numerous websites.

There are a total of seven modules and tons of videos in the program.  All the information was pretty decent and the videos were high quality.  However, the downfall was that most of the information provided wasn't anything that you couldn't already find by yourself by doing research.

Domain Flipping by Millionaire Society is a good guide on how to flip domain names but this is not for everyone, just like every product out there. My first piece advice is don't waste your time watching the video on their sales page. It is a waste of time hearing another rags to riches story. If you want to feel all warm and better about how things can turn around if you are in a tight spot... then you definitely should not watch it and just get to work!

If you are new to Internet marketing or online business then it will be very hard for you to make any money for the first 6 months to year. You will need to put in a lot of time watching domain auctions, selling some small domains, and spending time with other work to make some money while you get a good grasp of domain values. If you try to go beyond making $1000 to $3000 per month and try to get into the bigger stuff without a good understanding of domain values then you can lose a lot of money fast.

If you feel you have a good grasp of domain values but you have not taken the time to get into domain flipping then you can use this guide to pick up a few pointers to get you started making decent money flipping domains.

Overall domain flipping is something I would not recommend doing full time but if you don't have a solid understanding of domain values then you will need to put a lot of time in before you can make good money at this. You will need to decide if you can put the extra time into learning this. Once you have a good understanding of domain flipping then I would not spend more than 1 day a week plus maybe 30 minutes a day keeping up with it. This is something I would do on the side. I have a good sense of domain value and I buy a lot of domains anyways so I was able to pick up enough information that I will be able to turn many of my inactive domains into some good money and maybe spend 15 minutes a day seeing if I can pick up any good names to flip. Trying to concentrate on just this as your main way to make money can be very inefficient. This is something you could learn so you can do it on the side as you use other business models to make money online.

We will also look at the over all sales/squeeze page of the page itself.  Even if you aren't interested in buying the product, you still might want to market it for others.  I myself, do not promote this product due to the fact that I have used it, didn't like it, and refuse to promote something that wasn't useful to myself or overs.  The video is pretty basic and he uses the normal sales pitch.  No real information.  The page over all is pretty weak with information.  When I go to buy a product I want to see a good strong video and decent facts about your program.  So when you look at this as a marketer, you know you won't make a lot of sales on it.

In closing, Mack Michaels has a made a few products over the past few years (since 2009)  Make sure to do your own research before buying any products.  They are rather lacking.

If you want to take a look at one of the Millionaire Society Products -  Here is the latest one for Traffic Generation

Product Review 4 - Mobile Blog Money

Overview:

Mobile Blog Money is a mobile marketing course created by Chris Waldron that shows you how advertise to the 5.2 billion mobile phone world wide.

Because of the changes in the online world, mobile phone marketing has become far more profitable than PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing. The fact is that many more people will respond to message from their mobile phone than will with regular email.

Chris’s course  teaches you step by step how to get into this booming marketplace. He even includes software to help build lead capture pages and blogs that are optimized for mobile phone users. I have used this software for around 3 months now and have gained around a 40% increase in profits overall.  If you want to get into the mobile scene, then this software is a great choice to start with.

What Comes With Your Mobile Blog Money Membership:

Function #1 – The Builder – Instead of telling you how to…. it builds profitable money making campaigns for you. The Builder creates all the profit centers in any niche so you can profit right away.

Function #2 – The Buyer Sniper – This part of the system shows how to get buyers in any market. It reveals the keywords mobile phone users are using when they are looking to spend money on a product or service. This helps you make money because your money making campaigns will always only target people who are ready to spend their money on a product or service.

Function 3 – New Internet Automator – This shows you how to copy successful campaigns over and over again. Once you find a successful campaign you can automate the money making process and make easy money over and over again.

Function 4 -New Competition Manifesto – This function harnesses the power of competition to profit even more in any market regardless of size of competition. In other words…you can target any market or niche and profit from them even if there is stiff competition in that niche. The more competition the better!

My Final Assessment of Mobile Blog Money:

Mobile Marketing will revolutionize how people make money online and Chris Waldron’s course and software will help you get a head start on your competition. I highly recommend this course for anyone who is ready to grab their share of the millions of dollars that the mobile marketing industry is dishing out on a daily basis.  Just think how many messages you get yourself on your phone on a daily basis.  Why not get a piece of that pie now, before the market is all dried up?  Now a days, it is even easier then ever.  Almost everyone owns a smart phone, iPod, iPad, or some other smart device that they use almost every single day.  Target them, gain a nice niche sales basis and watch your profits go through the roof.

Go to the Offical Site Here --->  Mobile Blog Money  --> Watch the Short Video and be Amazed.
I have talked to Chris through email off and on since I started the program.  He is a great guy and has helped me with any issues I have ran into.  This product is the real deal.

Blog Update 4 - Introduction to Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing (SMM) on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Stumbleupon and Digg has exploded in the past year. But what exactly is it? And what’s in it for you? Let social media marketing expert and the man behind this blog gently introduce you to the subject and perhaps change your marketing life.

Early last year police closed Liverpool St Station in the UK after 13,000 people ‘flash mobbed’ the station, mimicking a TV advert for a phone company by all dancing to music playing on their MP3s. The idea for the flash mob was spread on facebook.

It doesn’t matter if the flash mob idea was planned by professional marketers or happened ‘organically’. The original advert inspired it, people loved it enough to travel across the country to take part, and Facebook allowed it to go viral. Oh, and T-Mobile got a lot of cheap marketing. Everybody was happy (even the policemen were smiling).

How Social Media Works:

When a user of a social media website discovers your story and likes it, they have the option to share it with their friends. This can cause the story to 'go viral' and be shared with even more people. This can deliver hundreds of thousands of visitors, launch a website or new product and bring significant [inbound links]. Those inbound links will directly bring your site visits and indirectly help your SEO.
When using social media marketing the quality of your content is crucial, the better it is the more likely it will be passed around. We’ll be talking about how to create such ‘sticky’ content in a future article.
Stunning content will still need a push to get going, the bigger your network on these social media sites the better. Your network can help you give it that initial push, increasing the chance of the story going viral.
Direct marketing will reduce the chances of a piece of web content going viral. People do not want to be sold to, the initial social media marketing push should be more about the conversation than the sale. A more aggressive sales angle can be added later, once the social media push has ended.

Keywords & SEO in Social Media:

Your social media marketing can support your search engine optimization (SEO) by including target keywords in headlines. Then when your story goes viral and other sites use your headline to link back to your site – Bingo! - you get keyword-rich inbound text links.

Smart SEOs love social media.

Keyword research can also be a great way to find ideas for stories that people want to read. One of the points of keyword research is that it shows you what people are searching for. Many is the social media marketer who goes to Wordtracker’s Keyword Question Tool to look for inspiration.
Smart social media marketers love keyword research.

Bigger than TV, radio, newspapers, magazines and books:

18-34 year olds now spend 4.3 times more time on social media than with TV, radio, newspapers, magazines and books combined. This is happening because social media allows users to talk to each other (which they prefer to being talked to) and choose for themselves what they see and read. Social media is a many-to-many conversation and not a one-to-many communication.
This conversational aspect of social media is crucial to understanding social media marketing because you can’t fake a conversation and you can’t automate it.

Social media is a very important part of marketing online in getting your websites and messages heard. The great thing about social media nowadays is you can leverage your fan base to help you create authority to your visitors. Take the tweet and Facebook like buttons for example; people nowadays associate the use of these buttons as a vote of confidence almost like a friend is recommending it. This is a great way for you to leverage your marketing even further online as social networks like Facebook and Twitter can be very powerful just because the sheer amounts of users who use these sites and connect with one another.

Conclusion:

Social media can be very powerful aspect of your online marketing if you are making use of the free tools out there that allow you to take advantage of these outlets. You should be primarily focusing your social media marketing on sites such as Facebook and Twitter as they present the best opportunity to leverage yourself amongst people in your niche market. By implementing social media correctly you can have others marketing your product or service for you!

The next few week we will dive into the 3 main Social Media networks out there and I will explain each.  I cannot express how important Social Media is now a days for Marketers.  Twitter, Facebook, Google+ are the top three.  I might do a few mini-posts about StumbleUpon, Digg, and the few others.  You need to get involved in all of them!  Whether you have a business and your own product, or you are an Affiliate Marketer trying to promote your product links, it's ideal to get on-board with Social Media.

Product Review 3 - Webstarts

There are a ton of sites out there that will assist you in building a website.  Just do a simple Google search for "Website Builder" and you will get a few thousand results.  If you want to build your site from scratch in HTML or Java, then buy a web host and host your own site, by all means do so.  Just realize that this is 2012 and very few business's actually do that anymore.  Times have changed, and the old ways just aren't there any more.  Why pay someone loads of money when you can do it yourself for ten times less.  Even if you don't know what you are doing as far as web design goes, the sites now a days are pretty easy to follow.  From basic to custom templates.  You as a business owner may not have the time to invest into actually building a website for yourself, due to the fact that you are running your own business.  Small business owners have to do this.  Affiliate Marketers should be doing this.  But as I mentioned, why spend loads of money for someone else to do it, when you can do it yourself, the way you want it.  Today, I want to review one of the best website builders out there.  Let's do a quick run down on the basics.

What can you use the app for?

WebStarts is a user friendly website design tool. The application utilizes a drag and drop interface that makes it as simple as possible. Users can drag and drop video clips, photos and other content directly on the page. The user sees the page as they build it so they never have to jump back and forth or refresh to view the most recent version. WebStarts offers hosting and a domain name. Users can also add a custom domain if they prefer. Custom email addresses are available with domain names. Users can add other content, such as a forum or web form and ecommerce tools. The application has also added member’s only pages that allow users to limit access to certain content.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

WebStarts was founded by Adam Barger in February of 2007. The concept behind the application was created when Barger noted the severe lack of user friendly “do it yourself” webpage builders. The application was intended to give users a convenient way to build a functional webpage without the cost of a professional designer. The application has received a positive response from users because of its simple design and limitless customization options.

What are the differences to other apps?

The main draw to WebStarts is the combination of a user friendly interface and unlimited customization for each page. The user can build pages to their specifications simply by dragging and dropping elements right where they want them. The user can see the page as it develops without messing with any coding. WebStarts manages to provide a user friendly website builder that doesn’t limit creativity by corralling the user into a template or minimal features.

How does the web app look and feel to use?

WebStarts offers a smooth, user friendly design that lets even the most inexperienced user stay in control. Each website looks unique, in fact browsing the gallery provides the user with many examples of just how original each design can be. The drag and drop interface is the corner stone of the site’s appeal because it gives the user total freedom when customizing a web page. The user can add a wide range of elements directly to their page before publishing it live.

How does the registration process work?

A new user can get started by clicking the yellow “Sign Up Now – It’s Free!” button in the lower, right hand corner of the WebStarts homepage. The next step asks the user to select a design. A note lets the user know that they can change designs later if they decide to do so. The user is taken to the registration form after selecting a design. The form asks for a first and last name, email address and password. Next, the user can choose their preferred subscription plan and must choose a subdomain name. The user is automatically logged in to their new account. Users can also click the blue button in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage to sign in with a Facebook account.

What does it cost to use the application?

WebStarts offers three subscription plans to its users. The first is a free plan which includes up to five pages, 10 MBs of storage space, 5 GBs of bandwidth per month, email support and the WebStarts footer on all pages. The Pro plan costs $4.89 per month and includes one free domain name, 15 pages, $125 in free advertising, five forms, five slideshows, 1,000 MBs of storage space, 25 GBs of monthly bandwidth and HTML access. The Pro Plus plan costs $7.16 per month and includes 10 email addresses, unlimited pages, $300 in free advertising, search engine submit, unlimited forms and slideshows, 5,000 MBs of storage, 100 GB of bandwidth per month, membership feature access, no WebStarts footers and phone and email support. Please note that WebStarts sometimes does offer deals and price cuts. So these numbers could change.

Who would you recommend the application to?

WebStarts is a valuable tool for anyone who wants to create a web page but has no experience or design knowledge. The application makes building attractive pages quick and hassle-free. Users can drop many elements onto pages, including functional items such as forms and slideshows. Three subscription plans offer access suitable for any purpose. Even the high end plan is economical for casual users and comes with many attractive features.

  • New users can register with a Facebook account
  • Member's only pages lets users control who can view content
  • Drag and drop interface makes it easy to organize web pages
  • Forms and slideshows can be added as well as images and videos
  • One free and two economical paid plans are available
  • Web pages can link to Twitter and Facebook profiles
  • Ecommerce tools allow users to sell merchandise online

To wrap it up.  Webstarts is an amazing builder that I have used for a few years now.  Even if you just want to make a few free sites to get yourself going, then upgrade later, its perfectly fine.  Please do note though, that you can only have one website per free account.  If you upgrade to the Pro or Pro Plus, you can have as many different WebSites under one Account name.  I highly recommend WebStarts as your builder for your online business or your affiliate product page.  Click the Banner Below to get started today!

Blog Update 3 - Business Website & Affiliate Marketers Website

This will be a very long article and I am truly sorry for that.  I was going to make it a two part article but decided that I wanted to get all the basic information out there right now, instead of posting one half this week and then the other half next week.  I want to discuss the importance of websites.  Whether it is your own business, promoting your own product, or if you are an affiliate marketer promoting someones product.

With the rapid down fall of world economy and dot-com companies in recent years many brick-and-mortar companies and new start-ups ask themselves: To Be Online or Not to Be Online?

Not a long time ago, I read a comment of a well-known industry observer, where he stated that companies that are not selling through the Internet by 2010 will probably become extinct. As dramatic as it might feel, although exaggerated, but there are some truths in it.

Consider this: Although diminishing due to bad economy, average growth of e-commerce is around 25 % per year. 81% of small businesses that have an online presence during last year’s holiday season reached new customers, leading to an increase in sales and profitability according to a survey conducted by Harris Interactive. Thirty percent of small businesses with a web presence and fewer than 20 employees now generate more than 25% of their revenue online claims Gartner research.

If this does not convince you to take your business online, below I pointed out 10 top reasons why you should start doing business online right now.

1. New Economy:

The Internet has created a new economy, which by its explosive growth and sheer size already changed our perception of traditional way of doing business. Companies like Amazon and Ebay have successfully created domination on areas, where just few years ago traditional brick-and-mortar companies were kings. However, in order to be successful on the net, you don’t have to be a giant like them. Many small and mid-size companies managed to build online businesses quite profitably. In fact, studies show small and mid-size companies will be the main growth force of e-commerce in coming years. Now that the economy is slowly growing again and people have extra money to spend.  It's a great time to get your company online.

2. Internet is a perfect venue for Business:

In order to make a sale you need visitors to come to your shop. On the Internet, your shop could be only a click away from your prospective customers. With proper marketing your Internet storefront can have more buyers than you ever can get in a brick and mortar shop.

3. Company’s Image:

Whether you sell products or services online or not, in today’s world you have to have a corporate presence on the Internet. Otherwise, as you must have noticed that people simply don’t take your business seriously if you tell them that your company does not have a website. A nice corporate site definitely increases the image of a company, especially if it has great product or service related content to go with.

4. Provide better Customer Support:

Customer accusation and retention is one of the key factors of business value chain. Thanks to Internet technology, business's can provide customer support more effectively. This means better customer satisfaction and increase of profitability.

5. Make Information more easily Available to Customers:

Just a couple of years ago, companies used to require days to deliver products or services update information to their customers. Things have changed since then. Today you can add or make any changes to your company and product related content virtually in a matter of couple of hours, publish on your site and share with the whole world.

6. Cut Costs:

New technologies allow you to take virtually any part of your business online, that includes supply chain management, billing, shipping, procurement etc. Streamlining these business processes through online systems will allow companies to cut costs significantly in almost every sphere of any business. For example: companies can reduce more than five percent of their maintenance, repair and operation costs by adopting e-business solutions. This five percent savings can turn into 50% of a company’s net profit.

7. Ability to do Business 24 hours:

How else can you continue making sales, while your staff are sleeping! The biggest advantages of online shops are that they are open 24 hours a day year round. Thanks to Internet off time, when your shop is generally closed, sales in some cases can be more than your regular business hours!

8. Low Start up Costs:

Building a web site does not require big investments. There are many low cost tools available today, which can help you create sites from scratch. Many business portals allow you to build web sites from templates. For less than 100$/month you can have a full-fledged corporate e-business site with all e-commerce features.

9. Your Physical Presence Could be in any Location:

The World Wide Web allows you to do business from any part of the world. Your physical location, except for few cases is not that important since you conduct your business online.  This is a great aspect of bringing your business online.  Were you use to only generate profit in your current location, now you can be severing the product nationwide.

10. Go Global:

Thanks to the Internet you can instantly become a global player. In fact, you don’t have to invest large sums of money to do this. There are literally hundreds of vertical and horizontal e-marketplaces available on the net. These marketplaces allow you for a nominal fee to get access to a large audience of prospective customers from all over the world. According to AMR Research more than $1.3 trillion of goods and services will flow through the B2B marketplaces. Who wouldn't want a piece of that pie?

The right determinant of e-business success is the same like any off line business. You have to have a great idea, you have to have a business plan, there should be a value proposition for prospective clients and you should have belief in it and your ability! Getting online is becoming cheaper and easier thanks to emergence of new technologies but marketing on the Internet is becoming more expensive.  Take your business online now, before the marketing costs become way too expensive for small companies.

Now, let's take a look of the affiliate marketer who is actually selling someone elses product.  When you are an affiliate marketer, you have to have the same mindset just as any business owner.  It might not be your actual product, but you need to treat it as if it was.  I have mentioned before in previous articles that as an affiliate marketer you don't need a website.  However, it is strongly suggested that you do.  There are other avenues of marketing that we will later discuss such as: Social Media Marketing, Article Marketing, Email Marketing, and Mobile Marketing.   I strongly suggest using all avenues of marketing as an affiliate marketer as they all generate sales.  As far as a website goes, you will want to have one website per product that you are promoting.  You don't want to have just one site, promoting six different products at the same time.  You need to focus and have a good strong site dedicated to one product that you want to promote.

Having multiple sites does get costly, and like I have mentioned before, you will want to focus on one product before you take on more.  Having a website is a great start.  However, you need to drive traffic to that site and also do a lot of SEO work on it so that it gets ranked in search engines.  Otherwise, you won't be making any sales, as no one will know you exist.  We will talk about SEO and Rankings in the future.

In closing, Websites are 100% necessary not only for business's but also affiliate marketers.  This was just a basic run down of both and we will go deeper into both aspects down the road.

Product Review 2 - Automated Income Stream Blueprint (AIS Blueprint)

Does the Automated Income Stream Blueprint (a.k.a. AIS Blueprint) work? If you’re asking this question, you have come to the right place. In this review, we’ll talk about this product in details. I have used this program before and the way it is set up is perfect for the first time marketer.  I have talked to Chris in the past and he, as well as myself, are always willing to help.  Any products that Chris puts out there I, myself, Normally buy.  His products are top notch and no B.S.

But first… what is Automated Income Stream Blueprint and why is it created?

The AIS Blueprint is created by a successful internet marketer named Chris Cobb. This is the exact system he uses personally to make a living online. The reason why Chris created this product is to set the record straight and cut through all the hype and jargons out there and give you all of the pieces of the internet marketing jigsaw puzzle.

Inside the AIS member area, you’ll get 43 step-by-step video tutorials plus several PDF documents. The amount of info or training materials inside can be overwhelming at first. But, let me walk you through step-by-step how to approach this massive training course so that you don’t get lost. For all the information that Chris provides.  It is a true value.

Here are the steps you should follow when you first log on to the AIS training system:

STEP 1 – Download and read the Automated Income Stream System Instructions – this is a short document that will tell you what to do next.

STEP 2 – Download and read the System Blueprint document – this is a FLOW CHART that shows you the whole picture of the internet marketing jigsaw puzzle. This is your road map to success! I suggest you to print out the flow chart and stick it on the wall in front of your work desk. This will help you complete the jigsaw along the way.

STEP 3 – Download and read the Niche Marketing report – this will teach you how to select a profitable niche market.

STEP 4 – Once you have chosen a profitable niche market, it’s now time to start putting your plan together with some market research. Watch the keyword research video! Now let me warn you that most people will find this to be boring because the actual work starts here. But guess what? DO IT! If you heed my advice, you’ll be a head of most people and you’ll succeed. Most people are lazy, they’re looking for short-cuts before they even understand the basics. So if you want success, you must do what others dread to do! Don’t worry, this is not rocket science… just follow the instructions outlined in the videos.

STEP 5 – If you have chosen the affiliate marketing and CPA model – begin to watch and follow through all the affiliate marketing and CPA training videos. You don’t need to do it all in one day or week, just move with your own pace and make sure you take consistent action. All this stuff works if you take action!
STEP 6 – If you have chosen to set up your own website, then start watching the website creation videos. I will have future articles on web site design and what is ideal.  Although in this product Chris does a good write up.

STEP 7 – The Monetization Process – Now that you have a web presence (and remember when you do, you are already ahead of the game! Most people will have read “choose a domain name” and given up!…). If you persist through… you’ll now in a position to start your “monetization process”. This includes list building and placing your affiliate promotions and banners on your website or blog.

STEP 8 – Traffic Generation – This is the fuel to your online business, the missing piece in most websites! Fortunately, this is something that Chris are very good at. He’ll cover BOTH free and paid traffic generation methods. Whichever your choice, just follow through the relevant blueprint and video tutorials. Personally, I will advise you to start with the free methods first! Once you’ve earned some money and confidence, you can look at the paid methods.

That’s it!  The above are the steps you should follow when you approach the Automated Income Stream Blueprint course. If you follow the steps and take action, I guarantee that you make money because this program provides the information you need.

Conclusion:
The Automated Income Stream Blueprint (AIS Blueprint) is a very in-depth training course. It covers everything and teaches you step-by-step how to piece together all the internet marketing jigsaw puzzles. The downside to such a training course is that it can be overwhelming for those who are new. If you’re new, make sure you follow the steps I outlined above. I do believe this is a great course, even for people starting in the business.  The information provided is key information that you will need to learn.  The product right now is only $5 for a 7 day trial.  For $5 you can't miss out on this program.  The information that Chris provides in his program is well over $3000+, that most people will and already do spend to get this knowledge.  I support this product 100% and if you are following this blog, this program is a nice way to start out.  I have used it and loved it.  Even with all the knowledge I already had.  I still ended up learning a few things.

Blog Update 2 - Set A Schedule for Your Business

Time frame from start of learning affiliate marketing to getting your first site operational can vary to person from person.  Some people learn a lot faster then others, and some take a little bit more time.  I know you are eager to start earning, but you have tons of work to do before you start to see income.

As a new online marketing business person, expectations can run unbelievably high.  You have read all the offers ‘start making money within 15 minutes of reading this e-book’ or ‘How to make $300 every day’ You know the adverts I mean. And you have probably bought some of these products only to find IT IS ALL HYPE!!! There are some good products out there, but most are slapped together so fast that the owners only care about making money off you and I.  Don’t despair. Affiliate marketing does definitely work. You just have to give it time, like I have said numerous times before in this blog.  If you don't have the time nor the determination.  You will fail.  Simple as that.

First off establish a time frame within which you want to start making money with your affiliate marketing business. Be realistic. 10 Days is not realistic.  Obviously this time frame will be affected by how quickly you assimilate facts and how much time you have to spend developing your projects.  If you  drive yourself 100% then it will take a lot less time then someone that has a full time job, family, etc. I think for the average person, 3 months is not too lofty a time frame to start earning some sort of income.  Weather it is small or large.  Even if you can devote all your time to your new business. It will still be around 2-3 Months.  This process, as I mentioned, can take even longer.  If you can't invest at least 4-5 hours a day, then prepare for around 4-5 months of hard work before you see some sort of income.

A Basic run down for a schedule should be as follows.  Remember to write down your goals and also make your own schedule.

Month 1:
1) Get one good e-book on affiliate marketing and study it thoroughly. COVER TO COVER.
or find a product that will help you along the way.  Remember, I will do product reviews every Tuesday.  I will only promote products that I have used myself, and will help you with your business.

2) Search online for free information that compliments what you have learned in the ebook or product you have purchased.  Research is a huge factor is everything you will be doing.  The internet is a vast place.  There are numerous resources out there for you to take advantage of.

Month 2:
 1) Find your niche.  Most advanced marketers, such as myself, have numerous niches.  When you first start out you will just want to put all your time and effort into one.  Once you can become familiar with how things work, you can start doing several.  I will have a few articles on Niches in the future weeks.

2) Find a good product in your niche.  Once you have picked your niche (Such as healthcare, fiance, sports) You will want to find a good strong product to promote.  We will go over how to pick a product in future articles as well.

3) Research your keywords!  Can't express this enough.  You target keywords are very important.  You don't want something that everyone is using, however you want keywords that people will indeed search.  Future articles are coming on Keyword selection and what is best to use and stay away from.

 4) Build your site.  The next article on next Monday we will get into websites and how important they are.  You will want a good strong website to promote the product.
A) Publish your site [get decent hosting ] After your website is built, publish it, get it running.  There are numerous hosting companies out there.  In next weeks article I will show you the best options available to you.

 5) Register with search engines, directories.  I plan  on having a few articles on SEO and driving traffic to your website.  This is very important.  You will need to rank high on search engines, otherwise no one will find your site and you will be lost in pages of other sites that are out-ranking yours.  So they will be making money, and you will be left in the dust!

Month 3:
1) Advertise your site with free classifieds.  There are countless ways to advertise your site for free.  You can even pay for advertising if you wish.  We will discuss advertising down the road.  Social Media, Ad's, Etc.

 2) Check ranking!  By month 3, you should slowly see that your site is rising in the rankings.  Your goal is to get that number 1 spot, or at least page 1.

3) Tweak your site.  Change your site every once in awhile to keep it fresh.  Attract new users and also give your current visitors something new to look at.

4) Submit articles, write in forums, blogs.  You will want to get your site all over the internet.  Find forums or blogs on your related niche topic and become part of the discussion.  Don't spam though.  Actually take an interest in what people are saying and interact with them.  Promote your site.  Get traffic.  Get sales.

Overall, this is just a very small basic schedule that you will want to set up.  There are numerous other things that you will want to add in.  We will go further into this discussion down the road in future articles.

Mindset of an Affiliate Marketing Entrepreneur

  • Define your reason
  • Define your goal
  • Determine your work ethic
  • Focus, Focus, Focus!!!

Why do you want an alternate income stream with affiliate marketing?

Sit down and write on a piece of paper why you want an alternate source of income. Paste this note where you can see it -example- on the refrigerator door

I want to be rich just won't cut it.

"I want to build my own business to a level where i can choose not to work for someone else" is a recurring theme in the affiliate marketing circles.
Setting targets for your affiliate marketing business?

Target 1: How much money can I afford to invest in my new business to get it up and running?

You need to think about this very carefully before you even approach the start line. Your online business will not generate a substantial income for the first 3 months it is up and running, and that is for the highly motivated person.
The money you are willing to invest must be money you can do without.

You must factor in things like:
  1.    Cost of a decent computer with broadband if you don't already have one
  2.     Cost of a domain name or multiple domain names
  3.     Cost of web hosting
  4.     Cost of educational material. You must understand that if your budget is limited then you want to find the best material with the best information at the lowest price. Even if you have a large budget, you need to limit the material you buy or you will end up with a huge library of unread, unused information.

Target 2: How much time can I afford to invest in my affiliate marketing business?

So you have come across this exciting business of affiliate marketing. You are Joe Average in a 9 to 5 job that sucks. Hey, you are going to quit your job, tell your boss exactly what you think of him and.... Hold on a minute, no you are not. This is not the time to quit the day job.
You must first make this business work and then quit the day job if you want to.
With this in mind, you need to determine, in the context of having a day job, how much 'extra time' you have that can be invested in this business. Then divide that time into two. I'll explain what i mean

Learn Time: Dedicated to reading you educational material and learning whatever little tricks there are to making your business work, or researching you niche topic or learning how to use software. This does not bring in the dollars but is crucial in.

Earn Time: dedicated to the doing phase of your business ie building and publishing your site, writing and publishing your article, writing and sending out your emails to your list, writing ads for google adwords, writing e books, creating products. These are the activities that will bring in the money.

Target 3: How much money do I want to make from my affiliate marketing business?

Be realistic, set a sensible target! Say you want to earn $10,000 per month, you then have to calculate how many hours of earn time you need to put in to make this amount or alternatively how much you need to earn per hour of earn time.
I'll illustrate:
Say your earn time is 2 hours a day, 6 days a week giving a total earn time of 48 hours every 4 weeks. This means you need to earn $10000/48 per hour to hit your target about $210. This is the amount of income this hours work has to be able to generate. It does have to generate this amount during the specific hour but the work you do in that hour has to generate that amount over the course of the month. If that sounds  complicated take a moment to think about it and i am sure the penny will drop, eventually.
The other way round is if you know that an hours work for you can only generate about $100 then you need a hundred hours of earn time to make your target.
The above example is for illustration purposes only.

Target 4: Within what time frame do I want to achieve my marketing goals?

You must realize that there will be teething pains so you are not going to make money from the word go. It takes time to build a site, find products to promote, get traffic to your site, etc. If done right you should expect to be making a reasonable amount by the third month of your affiliate marketing campaign.
If you are not then you need to rethink your strategy

Options are starting another affiliate campaign, find a new niche, optimizing your website, and approaching your niche from a different angle.
Remember.  It takes time and determination to be in this business.  You have to have this kid od mindset when you want to start.  If you feel that you can't do any of the above mentioned.  Then I suggest keeping your job.
